Etsy Love - I dream of picnics

My Etsy love list this week is inspired by the changing season.. But not the season here in Houston, I am lusting after the season back in Perth. Spring is easily the most beautiful time of year in Perth. The mornings are crisp, clear and fresh, then the days warm up to sunny afternoons perfect for laying in the grass at Kings Park or sitting out on a balcony with a beer. Bliss...

..Okay, I got distracted there. This weeks love list is all about picnics. Take a look and get inspired.. And then go outside and get some fresh air!

I am a child of the Eighties. And when I saw this, I immediately went back to picnics in the park at Shakespeare Regional Park, on the Whangaparaoa Peninsular (its amazing).. I LOVE this set - my Mum had all these pieces! Oh, and I just adore the store name!

Of course you need a super sweet picnic basket to carry everything in. There are so many neat vintage ones on Etsy.. But this one caught my eye. It looks a lot like the basket we used in our wedding photos! And the two wine bottle carriers are essential!

I'm kind of old school with picnics, and we always had afghan blankets or tartan blankets when we were on adventures as kids. I love these colors!

There was always going to be a dress in this list. Obviously I am a dress person, and this dress looks perfect for a picnic if you ask me. It's pretty much freaking adorable.

So maybe this isn't an actual picnic accessory. But I love it. And also, there is a badger at a picnic. So there is no argument to it being in the list...
