I am, according to Mr C Jung, Extraverted iNtuitive Feeling Judging. Or an ENFJer.
Here is a summary of who I am, as defined by being an ENFJ.
The very first line says that, I am a "benevolent 'pedagogue' of humanity". Yes, ladies and gentleman. A benevolent pedagogue. Not a normal pedagogue, but a benevolent one. I can honestly say that is the first time I have ever been labelled a benevolent pedagogue. Oh no, wait. I think I was called it once in a rousing game of, "I know you are, I said you are, but what am I?".
The second line states that I have tremendous charisma, which is obviously true. Charisma being a word that I learned from Pauly Shore in "Son in Law" when I was 8, along with "ming'i'ling", "yeah buddy" and "cruuusty".
On the plus side it says I am a global learner, can see the bigger picture and am good at juggling. Unfortunately, it also says that I may try and draw people into my "nurturant tutelage" and/or "grand schemes" (something Rob is always telling me off for), and that sometimes my unique salesmanship leads to me manipulating people. Swings and roundabouts I guess.
Reading further into this profile, I feel like it is starting to get personal (get it. Ba doom boom). It says I may have "thinner psychological boundaries than most....". Thanks man. I thought I was hiding my veiled psychosis quite well. I think it is also saying I don't have many friends. But that I am good with people.
So that's me. A charismatic, benevolent pedagogue, who can learn and juggle, with minimal friends but who understands people. Now you know a bit more about me, wanna be my friend?

I got ENTJ - Extravert(56%) iNtuitive(75%) Thinking(25%) Judging(33%). "ENTJs have a natural tendency to marshall and direct. This may be expressed with the charm and finesse of a world leader or with the insensitivity of a cult leader." They are often larger than life. Apparently the trademark is and I quote "I'm really sorry you have to die.". There's a whole list of peeps - Steve Jobs, Jim Carrey, Whoopi Goldberg, Margaret Thatcher, Al Gore... Well hell. Amongst all the writing these snippets make me sound a bit ruthless. Looks like we're both extroverted intuitive Judgey-McJudgergersons.
ReplyDeleteLol Im glad you found it funny too, so may people were saying how it described them perfectly. I have always thought of you as a cult leader. Presumably a cult based on worshiping cheese. Don't worry you only got 33% judging - you are less of a biatch than me apparently lol.
ReplyDeleteSo I had to google benevolent pedagogue. It seems like a contradiction of terms. It seems to mean happy go lucky and nice and relaxed, strict and disciplined teacher... Hmmm. Your thoughts Renee?
DeleteYeah I got the impression it was telling me to start a cult and take over the world, however history would suggest that is probably not the best idea. I did notice that a certain moustachioed leader wasn't on the list of people .
OK, so I've had some time to contemplate your conundrum and from what I can deduce, pedagogue is probably best described as "pedantic" - concerned with the small details. Benevolent being "desire to help/charitable/goodwill/kindly feelings". I think when you care about something you care about the detail involved in getting something just right or doing it in your own way. Alternatively I would say you care about the small details as well as the larger issue. It's not a bad thing, if you look at all the crafty things you do and how much love and detail you put in. I was going to give an example of differences in our character in regards to people being ill and level of caring. Where I know you care a lot, and will do some awesome small things to help which are most likely appreciated the most. I want to say it's like giving a naked injured person clothes for when they turn up to hospital at least you've helped them keep their dignity. This is one of the reasons why you are such a great friend. Best I stop here, than try explain why I might be seen as insensitive, justify it, then explain that I do care, just have trouble with how I should react, behave, what I should/can do about it, or am in denial.
