DIY Cocktail Topper

Here is how I made some cute cocktail toppers for a party we had recently!

What I Used
Skewers
Coloured paper
Butterfly hole punch
White paper
Pink ink pad
Heart stamp
Glue or double sided tape

Cut out pendant shapes from the white paper.
Fold in half and line with double sided tape.
Wrap the flag around the skewer and squeeze together.
Stamp the heart onto the flag.

Use heart shaped hole punch to create large white hearts, and smaller hearts. I used an old map for the small hearts!

Cut out butterfly shapes.
Use double sided tape on both of the butterfly backs.
Stick together with skewer in the middle.

Making Lino stamps

Here are some fun things I made with my work mate on Friday night at a great art space he runs in Houston.

Check out these stamps!

They are made from speed ball lino blocks using cutting knifes to carve out the drawings.

I am stoked with how they turned out!
