Last year we took a beautiful trip to the Pacific North West. It was the trip I was most excited about when we lived in the States - and it didn't dissapoint! Part of the trip was a mendering drive from Seattle south to San Fran. One of the highlights for me was the travelling from Hood River to Crater Lake. The drive along the Cascades was STUNNING. I loved driving up towards Mount Hood.
The drive included long wooded sections, canyon views, beautiful river views, and windy roads. Every now and then you would come out of a shaded, woody area and see glimpses of the mountain. Getting closer and more impressive at each clearing. So beautiful. And just a wee bit of snow to top it off. Ah, take me back! Such a beautiful drive!
What a gorgeous place! That is definitely an amazing drive. We drove from Vancouver, BC to San Diego and back once. The Cascades are a wonder to see for sure. The whole coastal drive is so breathtaking. Great pictures, Sarah!
